Gauchito Media Manifesto

Gauchito Media is a project born from the college dorms of an Art School, with the sole purpose of producing, documenting, and representing artists who have a voice worth listening to within their medium. As a firm, we focus on and work with individuals who, regardless of artistic accomplishment, political alignment, religious affiliation, sexual identity, or cosmic connection, are interesting, intriguing, complex, and, most importantly, different.

Gauchito Media believes that readers, viewers, media consumers, cinephiles, music nerds, and the plethora of artistic niches, deserve the most raw media experience possible. We pledge to actively document a picture of the crude artistic experience aspiring to promote the artists we choose to believe in and hoping to influence the next generation of artistic minds.

Gauchito Media would like to thank the following people, companies, & things for the origin of its conception: David Bowie, Prozac (not a paid promotion), Jack Daniels Whisky (not a paid promotion), Hunter S. Thompson, Anthony Bourdain, Jack Kerouac, the Avant-Garde, Joni Mitchell, Syd Barrett, Sony Handy-Cams, Diego Armando Maradona, Mac DeMarco, Martin Friedman, Psilocybin, Marlboro (not a paid promotion), Caminito (in Buenos Aires), El Cuartito, Cerveza Gallo (not a paid promotion), Punk Rock, Thistles (the flower), Latin Jazz, Nikon, Stanley Kubrick, The Market Girl Blog, 8mm Film, Santiago Martin Pando, Michel Foucault, Film Photography, Werner Herzog, Transsexuality, Pansexuality, “Et tu Brute?”, Asexuality, Bisexuality, Alternative Music, Julio Cortazar, Communism, Jorge Luis Borges, Mario Vargas Llosa, the Blues, Pink Floyd, The Republic of Argentina, Georgia (the State), John Cassavetes, Andrei Rublev, Spanish Proverbs, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Aphex Twin, The Smiths, Astor Piazzolla, Miles Davis, Karl Marx, Club Atletico San Lorenzo de Almagro, Pop Art, Django Reinhardt, The Ramones, Bill Evans, Jimi Hendrix, Hendrick’s (not a paid promotion), Nina Simone, Procreation, Religion, SCAD, The United States of America, Abstract Art, Fauvism, Martin Heidegger, Immanuel Kant, Albert Camus, Agnes Varda, French-Kissing, Jean-Luc Godard, Francois Truffaut, High School Prom, Elvis Presley, Conspiracy Theories, John Coltrane, Jesus of Nazareth, Christopher Hitchens, Bob Dylan, and Scotland.
